Hello hello, how is everyone doing today?
If you’ve been following my blog for a while then you know I am here with one of my favourite types of posts- my monthly Anticipated Releases!
To sum up: I like to scour Goodreads and the web and make a list of the books I’m most looking forward to being published in that particular month. Not only does it help me keep connected in the bookish community, but of course it helps keep me up-to-date with the new releases each month. I’m sure my bank balance hate this time of the month though, as my to-read and to-buy lists do tend to grow a little!
As I am a UK blogger I do tend to stick to UK release dates as much as possible. Some books are delayed in the UK, so if you think I have missed a really important release, it could be that in the UK it comes out at a different time (or I’m just not interested in it, w/e)!
November definitely has some strong releases for me this month- some things look really up my street 🙂 Without further ado, here are my most Anticipated Releases for November 2019:
1. The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern~ publication day: 5th November 2019
I only saw this book for the first time this weekend, and the cover is so eye-catching (even if it does remind me a little of Strange the Dreamer). But when reading the synopsis today, it sounds really intriguing, so made its way on to this list. 🙂 It starts with MC Zachary finding a story from his childhood in a strange book, and his quest to uncover the secrets in a strange subterranean library. Definitely want to pick this one up!
2. The Guinevere Deception by Kiersten White~ publication day: 5th November 2019
Another beautiful-looking cover for November~ This book is a retelling of Arthurian legend, where Guinevere is a changeling tasked with marrying- and protecting- King Arthur. I don’t know too much about King Arthur stories, but I like the fact that this is a strong female changeling who, by the sounds of it, basically runs the place without anyone realising? I’m intrigued!
3. Sisters of Shadow and Light by Sara B. Larson~ publication day: 5th November 2019
This is another fantasy on my list- and it sounds so interesting! In a world where Paladins roamed, until the day Zuhra’s sister Inara was born. Inara inherited the Paladin power to grow plants super quickly, but is locked inside her own mind. Zuhra looks after her mother and sister in an abandoned area, until the day someone comes through the impassable hedge. The synopsis doesn’t give too much away, but it has certainly piqued my interest.
4. 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston~ publication day: 14th November 2019
This is a Christmas-romance sort of book, but I am 100% HERE for it. Plus, the cover is absolutely adorable, it really makes me want to own a copy for my shelves~ The story is based on Sophie who, after suffering a breakup before Christmas, has her family organising 10 blind dates for her in the last few days of Christmas. It sounds super duper cheesy, but isn’t that part of what the festive season is for? Sign me up! ❤
5. The Never Tilting World by Rin Chupeco~ publication day: 28th November 2019
This book has a delayed UK release, which is why I couldn’t talk about it last month, but I have had my eye on this book for a while! 🙂 Not only is the cover absolutely stunning, but I also love the idea of the world being split in two- half the world in perpetual darkness, and the other in light. I hope it is as good as it sounds, but it is definitely on my to-read/to-buy list~
As ever I can never leave the list at just 5 books, so here are 5 more new titles that have caught my eye this month:
. Released 5th November . Released 5th November . Released 12th November .
. Released 14th November . Released 19th November .
And there we go, these books are my most anticipated releases this November. There were some truly beautiful covers this month, which some really cool-sounding storylines! I am glad that one of my most anticipated is a Christmas book too, even though I love the season so much it’s very rare that one makes the list ❤ Maybe I can add a few of these books to my Christmas list?
Are you looking forward to any of these books? Are there any new releases you think I’ve missed this month? Let me know in the comments!
